About
Mandy Denoon-Stevens
Mandy Denoon-Stevens is a seasoned counsellor with over 30 years of experience, offering both online and in-person services in Plumstead, Cape Town. As a registered counsellor, Mandy has dedicated her career to supporting the mental health community through not only counselling, but providing supervision, mentorship, and training to other counsellors.
With over a decade at Hope House Counselling Centre (NPO), Mandy led the Tokai branch, where she supervised and counselled individuals, while also training the next generation of mental health professionals. Her prior role at LifeMatters Foundation involved coordinating counselling services, driven by her passion for education and personal growth.
This passion for nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals is further demonstrated through her time running foundational training skills workshops and guest lecturing in psychology. She now provides personalised support, helping individuals and counsellors navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their best selves.
Her approach to counselling emphasizes finding peace amid life's chaos rather than striving for perfection.
